Job Title: BIM/CAD Designer (Water Infrastructure)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced BIM/CAD Designer to work on water infrastructure projects, focusing on linear utilities. This role involves preparing detailed and complex design layouts, making independent project-level decisions, and overseeing design tasks requiring fundamental engineering concepts with limited guidance. Ideal candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and complex design layouts, utilizing company best practices and National CAD Standards.
• Act as a liaison between CAD Managers and users to implement policies and technologies.
• Provide training, mentorship, and quality control to ensure consistent, professional deliverables.
• Coordinate design tasks across multiple disciplines, and supervise and delegate tasks to designers and technicians.
• Engage with team members and external stakeholders in a collaborative, professional manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in CAD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering design and technical support.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, with expertise in alignments, pipe networks, surfaces, and data management.
