Job Title: Architectural BIM Designer

Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Architectural Designer, you will assist in developing architectural design layouts based on sketches and guidance provided by architects and senior design staff. You will work closely with other disciplines to coordinate drawing production activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects. Additionally, you will review drafted designs to ensure they meet project-specific CAD standards and adhere to overall production quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Architectural design layouts from sketches provided by Architects and senior design staff
• Coordination of drawing production activities between all disciplines at the project level
• Provide quality checking of drafted products and conformance with drawing production standards and project specific CAD requirements

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated self-starter, results-driven and teamwork oriented
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail oriented, organized and have good follow-up skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in the development of 2D design drawings and a working knowledge of 3D design concepts
• General understanding of architectural design
• Exposure to Autodesk Revit Structure
• Proficient with AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of architectural drawing development in water and wastewater facilities
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in architectural design
• Associate degree in related technical field
