Copywriter
Job Responsibilities:
Be the expert on the brand, its 50+ markets, and its buyer segments
Adopt brand voice and style guidelines, and help to shape its tone as the brand evolves
Use dynamic storytelling to promote high-quality home products and services
Write persuasive copy for various media, including website, blog, email, brochures and other print materials, signage, video and radio scripting, presentations, and advertising
Proofread, edit, and provide additional copy support as needed for consistent accuracy within the style guidelines
Establish strategies and systems for managing our copy across customer and product segments for efficiency and consistency
Maintain a high standard for quality work completed on deadline
Collect, curate, and communicate key messaging to a full spectrum of stakeholders, including consumers, shareholders, the media, and internal audiences
Interact with colleagues on all levels within the company, across many divisions
Regularly research market trends and competing brands
Contribute to fostering a collaborative culture with fellow marketing professionals, and work with that team to brainstorm, strategize, and concept creative solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field) or equivalent experience.
2-4 years professional copywriting experience for a strong brand.
Experience writing for various media, including digital, print, and video
Familiarity with SEO and other best practices writing for digital
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
Creative and strategic thinking
Enthusiastic attitude and a proactive contributor
Comfortable working collaboratively on digital platforms (Workfront, Zoom, Teams, Slack)
