Responsible for administering and organizing all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. Responsibilities include working closely with project managers and key stakeholders, preparing comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. Position requires daily coordination of tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and schedules to deliver results on deadlines. Day-to-day collaboration required with all members of the project team and leadership to ensure the organization can achieve its objectives. Individual will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop consensus around the project goals, implementation timelines and delivery.

Essential Duties to be performed:

  • Develop project plans with milestones, deliverables, schedules and tasks for assigned small projects or phases of larger projects
  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information to support timely project completion
  • Work as Change Control Lead, Test Lead and/or Project Cutover Lead
  • Analyze risks, opportunities, monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Align project objectives with company goals and ensure project team is clear on objectives
  • Coordinate and facilitate project team meetings including agendas and minutes
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, management and senior IT leadership
  • Recognize and advise leadership of concerns and/or issues, and provide appropriate follow up to identified issues
  • Demonstrate good business skills and work effectively to build relationships with stakeholders and management.
  • Coordinate activities necessary to accomplish the expected outcomes of multiple initiatives as assigned by management
  • May assist in the delegation and coordination
  • Provide proactive, effective communication with verbal and written status reports, manage meetings and facilitate requirements, problem solving.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere in behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes favorable working relationships with customers, clients, co-workers and management

Position Requirements    

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management of multiple IT projects
  • Experience coordinating on multiple IT projects with differing complexities and size
  • Demonstrated experience working in project environments
  • Experience researching validating components for complex technology projects
  • Involvement of all parts of the project life cycle, to include planning, design and closeout in regard to IT
  • PMP Certified
  • Certifications in technology or project management related fields
  • Worked as Change Control Lead, Test Lead or Project Cutover Lead
